The Alano Club needs\nyour help in planning activities, events and participating at membership\nmeetings. Remember that this is your<\/strong> club. There\nis much you can do to contribute and be of service in the spirit of the 12th<\/sup> step. \nWe are striving to re-create some of the weekend events that were once common-place\nhere: barbeques, dances, and karaoke to name a few. We\u2019re open to new\nideas. It\u2019s up to you and your friends to get involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Membership dues are an\nimportant way to support our club. The money given in the 7th<\/sup> tradition\nbasket is NOT<\/strong> club dues. Our\nclub functions day to day from donations, dues and kitchen revenue. Our\nbuilding is aging and there are always needed repairs and improvements that we\ncannot complete without your help. Paying your dues gives you a voice in\nmembership meetings, opportunities to serve and a contribution in furthering\nthe mission of the club to serve our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We want to build a\nsolid financial foundation, ensuring our club will persist for future\ngenerations. Please be a part of the solution: pay your dues, eat a meal\nin the kitchen occasionally, get involved in entertainment committees, see\nwhere you can contribute and become a part of what has been so vital to so many\nof us in our recoveries. You can pay your dues at the counter downstairs\nand get involved by attending board meetings on the 3rd<\/sup> Wed of\neach month.
